Pastor Meester was born and raised in Valley City, ND. He graduated from Valley City High School and attended Valley City State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2021. He and his wife, Madi were married in May of 2021 and have been blessed with two boys, Tommy and Leo.
Pastor Meester felt the call to pastoral ministry in his senior year of high school. During that time he developed a deep love for Christ and His Church, especially as it is expressed in theology and liturgy. One of his favorite areas of interest is Church history, with a special interest in studying early Christianity and the Ecumenical Councils. He firmly believes that if our faith and belief is not rooted in what the Church has always believed then it is all too easy to be "carried about by every wind of doctrine." (Eph.4:14). This is why he seeks to follow the words of Arthur Carl Piepkorn in that we are "catholic [universal] Christians first, Western catholics second, and Lutherans third." In light of this, he has a deep desire to preach and teach the inerrant Word of God in the context of our history, in the hopes that it will strengthen not only his faith, but the faith of those who listen.

He also enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending time working alongside those whom he serves. Whether that means helping them put up a clock or butchering chickens, he finds that those are the best times in which God's Word can be applied to an individual's everyday life.
Pastor Meester attended the Free Lutheran Seminary from 2021 - 2025, graduating with Masters of Divinity. He served as the part-time Pastoral Assistant at Living Word Lutheran Church in Eagan, MN from 2021-2024 and as the Intern Pastor at Our Savior's Free Lutheran Church of Stanley, ND and First English Free Lutheran Church of Lostwood, ND from 2024-2025.
