At St. Peter We Believe:
God is One God in Three Persons.
Jesus is God's only-begotten Son, truly God and truly man who was born, lived, died, rose, and ascended for the salvation of mankind.
The Bible is God's inspired and inerrant Word given to all men so that they might be saved and is the ultimate source of our preaching, teaching, and practice.
The Lutheran Confessions of the Apostle's, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds, along with Luther's Small Catechism, The Unaltered Augsburg Confession, and the Formula of Concord are faithful witnesses of Holy Scripture.
Baptism is God's Word united with water in order to grant the forgiveness of sins, deliver from death and the devil, and grant eternal salvation to all who believe.
The Lord's Supper is truly Christ's Body and Blood in, with, and under bread and wine which united with God's Word grants the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation to all who believe.
Mankind was created male and female and that this is a fundamental distinction and division of the human race according to His divine plan and with His blessing.
Marriage is an indissoluble union (except by death) of one man and one woman.
Life begins at conception and must be protected from its beginning to its natural end.
